From Maputo travel north on the EN1 for about 224km until you reach the town of Xai- Xai once you have crossed the bridge over the Limpopo River.
Travel almost through the town until the BP garage on the left.
Approximately 300m after this garage take a right turn to Praia de Xai Xai (see signboard to the beach).
Travel for about 12km until you reach a traffic circle, keep left and follow the tar road to the beach front.
At the beach front turn left onto the dirt road and travel north along the sea shore (pass the caravan park on your left hand side) for about 2.3km.
There you'll find The Reef Estate and Blue Water Estate on your left.
Carrying on further for 1km you will find Xai-Xai Eco Estate on your left.
Take care on the sand road for bumps and a sandy patch. Most cars get through the sand without any problems. When enquiring from locals as to the whereabouts of the resort, they all know it as "Xai Xai Beach Hotel" which was its previous name. Xai-Xai Eco-Estate adjoins Xai-Xai Beach Resort.
